Why We Listen

“The best way to spread Christmas Cheer, is singing loud for all to hear”  - Elf (Infinifilm Edition)http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=contobemov-20&l=btl&camp=213689&creative=392969&o=1&a=B0002F6BRE

Feeling healthy and great all the time can be hard. When our minds and bodies feel good, we want  to stay in that fantastic mind set forever. Unfortunately enough, the world we live in is not  perfect and nor are we.

So is there some sort of cure to feeling bad? Is there some sort of pill that changes your mood?

Yes, there is.

It's called music.

It has been a part of human nature since humanity began, and could quite possibly be one of mankind's greatest creations. So what's so special about it other than being an old tradition? Well nothing really, except well...

It transforms us, it moves us. It changes our moods and our way of life. We listen so that we can hear the music.

Tonight a good deal of caroling shall be heard, from churches to homes. We listen to it because we want to. We want to because it makes us feel better. It makes us feel better because it connects us all, no matter how diverse each and every one of us are. We all feel the same feelings during a song no matter what language we speak. It gives us the ability to reach out to those who previously could not be reached.
So by all means reach out, sing, and enjoy the holidays!

Good Night World,
Sleep Strong.
